So I registered my domain name through Yahoo. It was fast, quick and very easy to complete the transaction. The domain got activated quite soon.

Pros:
1. Easy navigation, clear content, fast response of site.
2. Payment through Paypal - without hassles
3. Domain registration completed fast and DNS was updated quick. I was able to see the domain name within 8 hours
4. Ease of use in administering the domain

Cons:
1. Slightly more expensive compared to leading registrars
2. Provides only a SINGLE e-mail forwarding address & that too ONLY to a Yahoo email address. This may not be a big problem if you are registering domain name only for the sake of owning it (u don’t intend to use it extensively) — but definitively a big minus if you plan to create some email addresses for yourself / your family etc.
Other leading domain registrars typically give 10-20 email forwarding addresses and to ANY email address. (GoDaddy gives 100 free email forwarding addresses along with domain registration).
